hope water project

JOIN US for 40 DAYS! Drink only water from March 1 - April 9 and help provide people life-giving water in the name of Jesus!

Help others get water by...

Only drinking water...

Putting the money you save aside you would have spent on other drinks, and...

Encourage others to do the same.

We're not asking you to donate above what you're already spending. We're simply asking that you make a small sacrifice and put the money you spend on drinks toward drilling a well for people who have no clean water to drink.

The world has the money to provide water to everyone in need! In fact it would take just 1/3 what the world spends on bottled water in one year!

There are 300 million people without clean water in Africa alone.

The problem is that for so many of these people, the water is directly beneath their feet, but they simply don’t have access to it.

$5000 = 1 well

For every $5000 we raise, a deep water well can be drilled through the help of a matching sponsor.

They will be eternally grateful. Watch this VIDEO.

Psalm 107:35-38

See where we were able to help provide water from donations in 2014...

In some parts of the Horn of Africa it hasn't rained in 7 YEARS!

Across Sub-Saharan Africa, women and children are walking down dusty paths for miles just to find water -- often twice per day. Children carrying water like this spend two hundred million hours each day carrying 40lb jerry cans. It’s their only choice. It is the job of women and children. It is why many children don’t go to school. They have to find water to survive.

However, the water they find is most often disguising death! Inside their water jugs is a mixture of water, dirt, algae, bacteria, parasites and diseases. Who would want to drink that? But here is their choice: Don't drink the water and die now, or drink the water and die later.

  • Nearly 1 billion people do not have access to clean water.
  • Without clean water and sanitation, it is impossible to address poverty, hunger, or AIDS.
  • Half of the world's hospital beds are filled with people suffering from a water-related disease.
  • One third of the people on earth lack adequate sanitation.
  • Lack of access to clean water and sanitation kills children at a rate equivalent of a jumbo jet crashing every four hours.
  • Globally, diarrhea is the leading cause of illness and death, and 88 percent of diarrheal deaths are due to a lack of access to sanitation facilities, together with inadequate availability of water for hygiene and unsafe drinking water.
  • In 2011, 768 million people were still without access to improved sources of drinking water.
  • An American taking a five-minute shower uses more water than the average person in a developing country slum uses for an entire day.
  • More people have a cell phone than a toilet in Asia and Africa.
