Dear CSC Alumni,

As people who have benefitted greatly from the CSC ministry, I’m writing to ask you to help us continue this important work by becoming a “CSC DaD”. Will you prayerfully consider setting aside a Dollar-a-Day to financially support the CSC as we strive to influence as many students for Christ as possible?

Greetings from Troy and the Christian Student Center! Forty years ago, in August of 1974, Collegedale church of Christ held its first assembly at our current location! My life has been tremendously blessed and ever changed by the decision to position this church adjacent to the campus of Troy University - making its main mission to reach out to students with the gospel and strengthen the faith of young Christians. Each of us, on some level, can testify to the lasting impact Collegedale and the CSC has had on our lives.

The very nature of college lends itself to a time of learning and searching for answers to many of life’s most important questions. This atmosphere creates a critical time in the life of a young person and very fertile ground for spiritual growth. The college campus is a mission field like no other. With graduates from all 50 states and over 80 languages currently represented on Troy’s main campus alone, the opportunity to share Christ with the world in this strategic setting is now greater than ever for Collegedale and the CSC!

Collegedale provides a full-time campus minister and has realized a dream in building a new CSC facility on our prime location through God’s blessing and the support of individuals. All other operating and ministry expenses are dependent upon the support of individual donors and area churches. All “DaD” donations will go directly to benefit the students, providing opportunities for them to grow spiritually through: weekend retreats and conferences, materials for group studies, service and mission opportunities, promotional materials on campus and the opportunity for students to regularly fellowship together sharing a meal or on a road trip. Since opening the new CSC building in 2012 we have seen a 50% increase in the number of students regularly involved in the CSC and there is always the potential for many more to be reached with more resources.

As you consider making this investment in the next generation also think about who in your circle of influence might be interested in making this commitment with you. Maybe someone in your family or congregation, or your church as a whole, would like to know about the opportunity to support the CSC ministry. You may begin your tax-deductible support in a simple and convenient way by setting up a recurring donation of $30/month online at: (shortened url). We look forward to speaking with you about this mission opportunity soon. If you have any questions about becoming a “CSC DaD” please call or email us.

Grace and Peace,
